Tracey Breazeale has received the nonpartisan “Democracy Champion” designation from FairVote Minnesota for her support of ranked choice voting, including the local options legislation, which would allow more local jurisdictions to adopt RCV if they choose.
“I’m proud to be an RCV Democracy Champion, because ranked choice voting is an important electoral reform that enables more people to run for office and gives voters more choice,” said Breazeale.
FairVote Minnesota is a nonprofit, nonpartisan grassroots organization that works for a stronger democracy through public education and advocacy for ranked choice voting, an electoral system proven to be more inclusive, democratic, and representative than our current plurality system.
